West Sixth Brewing’s long-awaited location in NuLu will fully open Wednesday, Oct. 28.

The new location, at 821 E. Market St., has been operating under a curbside service and courtyard seating model for several weeks, but will open the doors to the taproom starting at 3 p.m. on the 28th. Hours will be Wednesday-Friday, 3-10 p.m.; Saturday, noon-10 p.m., and Sunday, noon-8.

Food will be available on site from Emmy Squared Pizza, and visitors can take home a free West Sixth pint glass while supplies last.

The opening tap list looks like a doozy, with beers like Snake Cake, Mexican Mocha Imperial Stout and several barrel-aged beers. A special tapping of German Chocolate Snake Cake is set for Friday.

All visitors must wear masks and practice social distancing; West Sixth’s COVID policy can be read online. Outside food can be brought in and enjoyed at the brewery (no outside alcohol, however).
